Our advocates assisted AS A-Selver, a major chain of super-and hypermarket stores, in connection with obtaining the merger control clearance for its acquisition of all assets (“enterprise”) of OÜ Tirsi Grupp, a leading chain of super- and hypermarkets in Tartu, the second largest city in Estonia. The said merger clearance was the first merger clearance in the Estonian Competition Board where control was transferred through the transfer of all assets of the company as opposed to the transfer of shares.
