Successful debt collection

Our lawyers managed to collect a debt of 0.7 million kroons in the construction sector. The debt had been overdue for more than a year and the reorganisation procedure of the debtor commenced immediately thereafter.

Collection of overdue rent and damages

Our attorneys represented a real estate developer operating in the Tallinn city area in a claim against a lessee for overdue rent and compensation of damage caused. In spite of the lessee’s economically difficult situation our client managed to collect 0.6 million EEK.

Collection of an unsecured loan

With the help of our debt collection team our client was able to, in spite of the complicated economic situation and rivaling creditors, retrieve an unsecured loan from the retail sector amounting to millions of euros.

Approval of debt-restructuring of a biodiesel producer

Our lawyers advised the leading Estonian biodiesel producer – AS Biodiesel Paldiski, in connection with its judicial debt restructuring plan and related legal proceedings, as a result of which the plan was approved and effected by court. The total amount of claims transformed by the plan was 290 million kroons, making it one of the largest judicial debt restructuring in Estonia so far.

Judicial debt restructuring of a telecommunications company

Our lawyers advised a pan-Baltic telecommunications company in connection with the commencement of its debt-restructuring proceedings in Estonia and preparation of its debt-restructuring plan, consequent successful appeal to the court of second instance, etc.
