Partner Tõnis Tamme participated as a panelist in the Independent Law Firms Forum 2011, held on March 17, 2011 in London. The annual event is organized by the leading legal magazine in the UK – Legal Week and this year focused on exploring new markets and new ways of doing business.

The Independent Law Firms Forum brings together managing partners and senior management from independent law firms from across the globe to debate and discuss challenges facing their firms.

Tõnis participated in the panel discussion on the topic of „Eastern approaches: market opportunities in Russia, Scandinavia and the Baltic States“, together with Andy Hunter from the Russian and C.I.S. firm Magisters and Alex Holtum of the International Law Firm Solutions, UK.

With the Russian and the Scandinavian economies both being regionally important, the session assessed how law firms are adjusting to their own changed circumstances and explored possible scenarios of future development with a help of specific case studies.
