On May 13th, 2008 a company belonging to the Tallinna Kaubamaja group, a leading Estonian retailer, purchased the 100-percent share in AS ABC KING (and the latter’s 100-percent holding in the Latvian subsidiary SIA ABC King), a local market leader in the sale of shoes.

AS ABC KING was established in 1993 and is a member of the pan-European Ariston-Nord-West-Ring Schuh GmbH (ANWR) purchase group of 5,000 stores. AS ABC King operates a total of nine stores, of which four are in Estonia and five in Latvia. In 2007, the sales revenue of AS ABC King was approximately 200 million Estonian kroons (approx 12 782 000 million EUR).
