Fields of practise
Erki is a partner of the firm in charge of the Dispute Resolution practise. In ddition to representing clients in mediation, judicial and arbitration proceedings, Erki also practices commercial law, advising entrepreneurs in M&A and contractual matters as well as in negotiating and completion of transactions.

Professional experience
In 1999, during his studies in the Faculty of Law in the University of Tartu, Erki started working in Law Firm Keevallik & Partnerid. In 2005 he joined Law Firm Ruus, Koch & Vabamets as a partner.

In addition to his work as an attorney, Erki worked as a pre-trial investigator in the Tartu Investigation Bureau of the Police Board in 1996 and practiced in the Legal Department of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg in 2000.

Education
Erki graduated from the Estonian Public Service Academy (specializing in pre-trial investigation) in 1997 and received his degree from the legal faculty of the University of Tartu in 2000.

Languages
Erki is fluent in Estonian and English and communicates also in Finnish and Russian.

Extra-curricular
Erki has been a member of the Round Table Tallinn-1 club since 2002. He has been elected as the president of his club and appointed as a board member of Round Table Estonia on several occasions.

Erki enjoys windsurfing, from early spring till late autumn. In the winter he settles for cross-country and downhill skiing.
