Lawyer

Fields of practise
Martin specialises in competition law, private international law and commercial law. In cooperation with the advocates of the firm Martin participates in resolving legal issues arising from clients’ day-to-day business operations and from the acquisition of enterprises.

Professional experience
Martin joined Law Firm Tamme & Otsmann as a lawyer in 2008. During his law studies Martin has also undergone internship in the Tartu Administrative Court.

Education
Martin graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Tartu in 2008 cum laude (LL.B) and obtained a master’s degree (cum laude) in the same faculty in 2010. Currently, Martin continues his education in the MLB (Master of Law and Business) programme in the Bucerius Law School and in the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany (Hamburg/Vallander).

Languages
Martin’s native language is Estonian and he is fluent in English. He is also able to communicate in German and Russian.

Hobbies
In his spare time Martin likes to travel. He has also been engaged in debating and been the national champion in debating among secondary school and university students.
